Well, I didn't really know her, but she came to Stanford the year before I moved to Portland and I told her I was moving there and we talked about her short film and she totally inspired me and got me more excited to move to Portland, a place full of people like her. Well, she left not too long after I arrived, but still, I feel some connection to her. I wouldn't be suprised if some of my friends know her or knew her then. Oh, I also saw her at Pica, too, right before she moved.

I really enjoyed her most recent website about her new book, go check it out.

PICA is brining Miranda July to give a reading -on May 18!
Miranda will be here on the 18th - PICA is bringing her to give a reading and she will sign books after the event. the tickets are a good price- 10 bucks for members and 13 for non members- I hear it is selling out- but there will be tickets at the door- for now i guess you can get them online from their website... www.pica.org.
